A great big high five to the Drayton Kinsmen for last weeks annual Drayton Farm Show. Well attended by the public and supported by its many exhibitors. The final numbers aren't in yet but it looks like another great year. We couldn't and wouldn't do a project like this without the support of the Township of Mapleton. It shows true leadership when the council and area service clubs can work together hand in hand.

Our members have been working throughout the fall and winter on refurbishing their club room and despite a frozen pipe and water damage set back we are ready to host a open house on April 18th. Please drop by and support the Kinettes Roast Beef Dinner. It's only $10 per person, 12 and under $5 and free for all the wee ones. To book your tickets call 519-323-1734 and leave a message or email Wanda at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

The Mapleton Market will be starting up at the Ag arena May 30th and most Saturdays throughout the summer from 8 am to noon. To book a table its only $20 per week and we hope to showcase as many local farm fresh and other vendors as possible. Which will lead us into the Drayton Fair August 7th to 9th hosted by the Drayton Mapleton Agricultural Society and again we will be hosting the entertainment tent and sponsoring a class at the tractor pull.

In closing a very busy summer for Drayton and the Drayton Kinsmen and Kinettes. Please come out and support our many events and learn about the many projects that were working on for Mapleton.
